A Good Day
Today...

Today was a good day.

As may potentially be obvious from my username, any day that includes time spent on top of a mountain is, by definition, a good day.

Today had that.

Adding to the goodness that was today:

Now, if only I didn't have to work tomorrow I'd do it all over again!

Got it in one! That was the mountain in question.

The birds were wheeling around over the top of the mountain. The river pics were taken at the park next to where you got married.

After I was laid off and spent 3 months job hunting, I spent many days each week hiking there. It was peaceful and I could still answer any recruiter calls as I had them forwarded to my cell phone. It was nice taking one of the few calls on top of a mountain. :P

The time to myself working on my fitness and awareness was wonderful and something I look back on with some nostalgia and longing now and again... ;)

One of my favorite pastimes used to be finding a nice comfortable tree atop of a tall hill or mountain, on a nice day with a decent breeze, and sit under it with a good book.
